Art.

I consider art important? the answer is yes, I don't have only one explanation, but one of them is the one that a great teacher "Patricia del canto" told me: "Art is important because it beautifies the world" and the truth is that this is really necessary.  Since I was a little girl I've been doing art, painting and drawing on absolutely every available and unavailable surface hahaha, my mom has a "vhs" where I'm 4 years old, drawing on the wall of my room, 4 years old and I was already destroying, and drawing of course.

Art is everything to me, I was born, I grew up and developed with it, I have never seen it as a job and I don't feel that I am studying it as such, I simply took what I did at home to a university and they told me: -Welcome to the conservatory of plastic arts of the UChile, you enroll tomorrow-.

I took private drawing and painting classes since I was 14 years old, I went to the theater and music workshop at my school since I was 13 (I played the drums), so it's something that was always walking with me without even realizing it. I feel that he orders my ideas, that it is so difficult for me to understand everything that happens around me, even what happens to me, that by making art he orders this crazy head I have, which thinks at a thousand per hour and calms it down for a few seconds.

I have not dared to participate in any contest yet, as I consider that comparing one work with another should not be done, one art is not better than the other because no person is more or less than another person. So to compete with the most intimate of another I find it absurd.

My favorite expressions of art are many. I discovered that pop art, for example, is not so bad, in fact, my teacher "nury gonzalez" has always told me that the art I do is very pop, very frivolous. But I also admire "Rococo and Romanticism", I feel that behind those beautiful landscapes there is a lot of sensibility, more than ostentation.

I have many favorite artists, from Rembrandt, Velazquez and Goya, to Francisca prieto, Monica bengoa and Guillermo Lorca.
